Model rates typically range from $100 to $500 per model per shoot, depending on several factors including project type, shoot duration, usage rights, and the model's experience level. E-commerce and catalog shoots generally fall in the $100 to $250 range, brand campaign work runs $250 to $400, and editorial or high-end productions are $400 to $500 or more. We provide detailed, transparent quotes for every project so you know exactly what to expect before confirming a booking.

The standard model rate covers the model's time on set for the agreed-upon duration, posing and participation in all planned shots, and basic usage rights for the images produced during the shoot. Wardrobe, hair and makeup, travel expenses beyond a standard range, and extended usage rights may involve additional costs depending on the project scope. We outline all inclusions and any potential extras in your quote so there are no surprises.

Standard bookings include usage rights for digital marketing, social media, and your website. If you need extended rights for print advertising, billboard campaigns, national distribution, or licensing to third parties, additional usage fees may apply. We discuss usage rights upfront during the quoting process so both parties are aligned before the shoot. This protects your brand and ensures our models are fairly compensated for how their images are used.

For bookings requested with less than 48 hours of notice, a rush fee may apply depending on model availability and project complexity. The rush fee is typically 15 to 25 percent above the standard rate. We always communicate any additional costs before confirming a booking, so you will have full transparency. To avoid rush fees, we recommend reaching out as early as possible, even if your project details are not fully finalized yet.

Yes, we offer discounted rates for brands that book multiple shoots, need models for multi-day campaigns, or establish ongoing partnerships. If you anticipate regular model needs — such as monthly e-commerce shoots or quarterly campaign updates — we can create a custom package that reduces your per-shoot cost while guaranteeing model availability. Shoots can happen anywhere in the NJ/NY metro area — and beyond if needed. Common locations include professional studios in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and northern New Jersey, as well as outdoor locations in Jersey City, Hoboken, Princeton, Edison, and other scenic spots. Many brands also shoot at their own offices, showrooms, or retail locations. We are flexible on location and can help suggest venues if you need recommendations. Models will travel to the agreed-upon location as part of their booking.

Hair and makeup are not included in standard model rates, but we can connect you with professional hair and makeup artists who work regularly with our models. Many of our clients choose to hire a dedicated stylist for campaign and editorial work, while e-commerce and lifestyle shoots often have models arrive camera-ready. We can advise on the best approach for your specific project and provide referrals to trusted stylists in the NJ/NY area.

HireHerNow provides the model, pre-shoot coordination, booking management, and ensures the model arrives on time and prepared. Brands are responsible for the shoot location, photography team, wardrobe (if applicable), hair and makeup artists (if desired), props, lighting, and creative direction. We handle the talent side so you can focus on the production and creative elements. If you need help arranging additional services, we are happy to provide recommendations and referrals.

Shoot duration varies based on the project. Quick e-commerce sessions with a single model may wrap in 2 to 3 hours. Standard brand shoots typically run 4 to 5 hours. Full-day editorial or multi-look campaigns can go 6 to 8 hours, including breaks. When you request a quote, specify your expected shoot length so we can provide accurate pricing. If a shoot runs significantly over the agreed time, additional hourly charges may apply, which will be outlined in your booking agreement.

We understand that plans change. Cancellations or reschedules made more than 72 hours before the shoot date can typically be accommodated without penalty. Cancellations within 48 to 72 hours may incur a partial fee to compensate the model for holding the date. Same-day cancellations are subject to the full booking fee. We outline all cancellation terms clearly in the booking confirmation so there are no surprises. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible while being fair to our models.
